Hearts vs Rangers: Live stream, TV channel, referee, VAR and team news for crunch Premiership showdown

HEARTS welcome Rangers to Tynecastle for what is sure to be a thrilling Premiership clash in the capital.

It’s 3rd vs. 2nd in the table and Robbie Neilson‘s Jambos will no doubt reckon they can be the side to end Michael Beale‘s unbeaten start as Gers boss.

Hearts haven’t tasted defeat in the league since way back on November 9, winning or drawing the nine Premiership matches they’ve played since.

Their last loss? A 1-0 defeat at Ibrox to Rangers.

The Light Blues have been in excellent form since Beale’s appointment, dropping points just once in the league.

And they’ll know they have to keep that run going if they’re to keep hopes of catching Celtic in the race to be Premiership champions.

It promises to be a belter of a game and SunSport has all the key details ahead of this one.

What time does Hearts vs Rangers kick-off?

  • Hearts vs Rangers takes place TONIGHT, Wednesday 1st February
  • It’ll kick-off at 7.45pm
  • The big match is taking place at Tynecastle
  • John Beaton is the referee with Kevin Clancy on VAR duties

Is Hearts vs Rangers on TV? Can I live stream it?

  • Hearts vs Rangers is NOT on TV
  • Sky Sports have not selected the match for live coverage
  • The match is available to stream on Hearts TV for £12.99
  • Highlights will be shown on BBC Sportscene at 11.10pm on BBC One Scotland and BBC Scotland
  • You can follow the action with SunSport’s LIVE match blog

What’s the Hearts vs Rangers team news?

Key Jambos men Cammy Devlin and Michael Smith have been described as “touch and go” by boss Neilson ahead of this one.

James Hill missed Sunday’s draw with Livingston but should be able to return tonight.

Long-term absentees Craig Gordon, Peter Haring and Craig Halkett are among the players still unavailable.

As for Rangers, Nicolas Raskin could be in the squad if clearance comes through in time.

John Souttar and Kemar Roofe are on the comeback trail but won’t be involved but Ianis Hagi will be ready to go again after making his much-anticipated return at the weekend.

Like Hearts, Rangers have plenty of long-term issues and the likes of Tom Lawrence, Ridvan Yilmaz and Steven Davis are missing again.
